Wycliffe Developments Ltd has been able to secured a lease with a single-user occupier. We were able to assist Devon Concrete in securing planning consent for a new wet concrete batching plant with works commencing on site in June 2020. The batching plant being assembled was dismantled by Devon Concrete after the completion of the Queensferry Crossing over the Firth of Fourth in Scotland with the associated hoppers which had previously been used in construction of the 2012 Olympic Village, Stratford, London.
The site had a number of qualities which suited this specific use with the obvious being good communication routes to the South West but also its proximity to a large sub-station due to the high electrical loads required by the equipment on site. The local infrastructure was further reinforced by the new construction of an urban reserve behind the sub-station.
